GILDING & GILDED HENNA TATTOO

Gilding a a term used to describe the application of colored gels or glittered pastes to a henna tattoo. Gilding can be applied while the paste is on the skin, or after the paste has been removed. See more images in the gilded henna tattoo gallery .

Gilding is temporary & will last as long as you do not wash the colored gel. Some gilding is done with theater quality powders. A good example of golden powder is in the image to the left.

The black color you see is henna paste on the skin, the diamond effect is a glittered gel as is the silver. The red/orange color is finished henna tattoo.
